E-Cell KITCoEK also known as The Entrepreneurship Cell of KIT’s College of Engineering, Kolhapur is a dedicated student-organised initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students with the tagline of THINK. INNOVATE. IMPLEMENT. The E-Cell serves as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to explore and develop their business ideas, providing them with the necessary resources, mentorship, and exposure to turn their ideas into viable ventures. It plays a pivotal role in cultivating an entrepreneurial ecosystem within the college by organizing a wide range of activities such as workshops, startup competitions, guest lectures, and networking events with industry professionals.

E-Cell KITCoEK also organizes a wide range of events such as E-Summit, Illuminate, Pitching Deck and the ECR Program, aimed at fostering entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and practical business skills among students. The E-Summit organized by E-Cell KITCoEK is a flagship event that brings together aspiring entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, and startup enthusiasts on a common platform to celebrate and promote entrepreneurship, it includes Business Expo, series of Workshops on topics like finance and stock market, Speaker Sessions with Entrepreneurs from around the nation who have been recognised in shows like Shark Tank India, consisting of total six sub-event in E-Summit at KITCoEK.

These events are occasionally conducted in partnership with the KIT’s Innovation and Research Foundation (KIT’s IRF) and E-Cell KITCoEK, combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial guidance. Workshops such as “2-Days Ideation Workshop” was conducted in partnership between E-Cell and KIT’s IRF at the VLSI Theatre, KITCoEK. It was an interactive and immersive event designed to facilitate creativity and generate innovative ideas among participants, often focusing on solving specific problems or developing new products and services. This workshop typically brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as students, entrepreneurs, and professionals, to collaboratively brainstorm and refine ideas. This Workshop included Eminent Speaker Mr. Prashant Mandke, Advisor- Social Impact and Startup Mentor. Together with E-Cell KITCoEK and KIT’s IRF continue to make a positive Entrepreneurial impact.
